2020 - Magical Mystery Cruise
The "World Cruise" that wasn't meant to be!
We set out on January 23, 2020 on our way to the Regent Seven Seas Mariner for our dream cruise around the world - 131 days! Well, then COVID-19 struck the world. Our cruise itinerary was changed several times, hence we all started calling it the "Magical Mystery Cruise", as we never knew where we were going next. As countries starting closing their ports to cruise ships, we were running out of places to go. We were cruising along the southern coast of Australia when we were told the cruise would be cancelled and we would all have to leave ship. We disembarked in Perth, Australia and made the grueling 39 hour trip back. So, these are the photos from the abbreviated 55 day cruise.
